Shannon D. O'Brien

is an Associate at the firm and is admitted to practice law in the State of New York, Eastern District of New York, and Southern District of New York.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. O’Brien was an Associate at Clifford Chance US LLP where she worked on complex litigation and government enforcement matters in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution group.  Ms. O’Brien currently works on a variety of litigation matters at the firm, including estate litigation, employment litigation, commercial litigation, and personal injury litigation. She also assists with estate planning and estate administration.

Ms. O’Brien received her B.A. in American Studies from the University of Notre Dame. She received her J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law, where she graduated Cum Laude and in the top 10% of her class.  As a law student, Ms. O’Brien was a St. Thomas More Scholar, Associate Managing Editor of the St. John’s Law Review and the Journal of Catholic Legal Studies, and a member of the mock trial team. She also interned for an E.D.N.Y. Magistrate Judge. Prior to law school, Ms. O’Brien was a Paralegal Specialist at the United States Department of Justice Antitrust Division in Washington, D.C. and worked at a tech start-up in New York City.

Ms. O’Brien is currently a member of the Nassau County Bar Association, New York State Trial Lawyers Association, and New York State Bar Association.
